Group B favourites in the Sherwin Williams Women’s Football League GC Foster College justified their favourites tag with a comprehensive 5-0 win over new team Boys Town Wildcats at home, on the opening day of the 2014 season.

Twenty five coaches, including nine females, completed a one week course focused on preparing female football players, at the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Technical training centre recently.

The participants were treated to five intense days of hands on coaching where they had the opportunity to work with the Jamaica Under-15 and Senior Reggae Girlz. Both teams are preparing for competitions next month so it came in as ideal training sessions for them.

One of Jamaica's most well known and historic football club's, Boys Town FC, is set to complete the final piece in the puzzle to create a holistic approach to football at the total club.

The idea of restoring the women's football team was always in the plans of the club. Ever since the news broke about UWI's coach Dwayne Richards termination from the Mona based club the hierarchy acted quickly to convince the highly rated coach to go to Boys Town.
